Post subject:  How to best replace mixed dead links.

For now, I have some post with dead links that, have there:
rapidgator
rapidu - dead hosting
uploaded
nitroflare
These links have normal names, not scrambled

These links I want to replace with:
rapidgator
ddownload
clicknupload
drop download

These replaced links are scrambled.

How to best do such operation? For now, I extract and just paste manually instead of uploaded links the ddownload links, but is there another way to do that better?

Also going into replace links mode, shows me every line different link, so it's hard to exchange one by one, better option is with extract links, where are all links grouped by hosting and I just paste whole block of links with other hosting.
Is it possible to work with that somehow, like maybe use txt file with links, but if the links don't match I saw it does not work (old links have normal name, new links are scrambled).

Any ideas for that?

Make sure you are always posting with links with full filenames in the URL.

Like this for example (same for other hosts):
Code:
https://rapidgator.net/file/d2af956b542c9f676ccd3bp9e88a9e22/YOUR_FILE_NAME.rar.html

When replacing dead links also have new links with filenames in .txt file.

Then in "STATUS" -> "LINKS" table where all dead are shown, just load your .txt files with new links and choose method to "Try to match by filename in URL" -> the new links will be matched automatically with old links (no need to enter anything manually and it doesn't matter if are scrambled, they will match automatically).

You can have links in .txt file with all hosts. Just enable option to match by host domain as well (near the "Try to match by filename in URL" when loading new links from .txt).

Some real example for this:

Code:
https://rapidgator.net/file/a45cc948ac4d50ae9c93ab53e4115a77/Assassins.Creed.III.Remastered.Update.v1.0.3-CODEX.rar

Code:
https://rapidu.net/9563442142/Assassins.Creed.III.Remastered.Update.v1.0.3-CODEX.rar

Code:
http://uploaded.net/file/hzoi391x/Assassins.Creed.III.Remastered.Update.v1.0.3-CODEX.rar

That are old link, and in txt file I have such links:

Code:
https://rapidgator.net/file/083f406a6b8aa5b0e830fd338ae7b890/rgulAB3FHn9mNiGUxOiSM5MDRDfEBhpg2FM6hiEHU2mJfyS2VV0x.rar.html

Code:
https://ddownload.com/rw7hqyfzrmfo/rgulAB3FHn9mNiGUxOiSM5MDRDfEBhpg2FM6hiEHU2mJfyS2VV0x.rar

Code:
https://drop.download/137yohfzcww3/rgulAB3FHn9mNiGUxOiSM5MDRDfEBhpg2FM6hiEHU2mJfyS2VV0x.rar

Code:
https://clicknupload.club/wo07dv325qtz

Will it work to exchange them?

Obviously not.

The filename in URL must be the same.

In old link you have: "Assassins.Creed.III.Remastered.Update.v1.0.3-CODEX.rar".

It must be the same filename in new link.

Not that random "rgulAB3FHn9mNiGUxOiSM5MDRDfEBhpg2FM6hiEHU2mJfyS2VV0x.rar" (they are not the same).

So for that example, what would be the best option? Extract links and then paste a block of new links there? Or maybe go to post -> check links, then load txt and load links in chronological order?

Post subject:  Re: How to best replace mixed dead links.

Yes, only chronological order would work then.

You can do that in "Extract links" as well (or "Check links" as you mentioned, but that's just for one post) and with "Extract links" you could do multiple posts at once (just make sure links are in the same order in .txt file as you see them in the window).

You can do that as well in "STATUS" -> "LINKS", but might be harder to put links in the order which you see in the table (you could do that in some batches, not all at once).

How about I have 2 forums with the same thread name and I will do check links, so it will change links in these 2 forums or only one forum? In 3.2 faq it mentions all posts, so how does it work?

From "STATUS" -> "LINKS" -> links are replaced in all websites.

From "Extract links" window -> choose at the top "Search in" -> "all websites".

Oh I see, thank you, and what does the option "Add links as mirror" do?

Post subject:  Re: How to best replace mixed dead links.

Adds new links as mirror (does not remove or replace anything).

If chosen "at start" -> then above current links.
If chosen "at end" -> then below current links.
