Hi Freddy,
Is it possible to add a setting for Check for dead links?
I think it would be usefull to have possibility to setup fixed hour to always start checking at the same time. My PC in on 24/7 but I'm using it mostly after 2 pm. So currently with the setting of interval to 1440 each day the checking starts later because of time of previous check. So in couple of days it starts to check links when I need PC power, but there's a checking on it's way. Even when app is placed on fast SSD NVme drive it makes whole system to work significantly slower amd laggy.

In summary, having the possibility to set-up fixed hour I can use my PC resources when they are totally free.

Hi,

if the check is set to 1440 minutes (24 hours) it will start always after 24 hour (there is no later because of previous check).

If you really need to check links later, you could just close the program and start the program once you leaving the computer (it will automatically start the first check after 2 minutes on start-up).

But might add something.

So ther must be other factor that makes the check to start later and later every day. I will try to prove that somehow.

Please, think about that.

2 consecutive days. TM has not been shut down in the meantime. In the first case (July 23), adding up the current time and the time to check links gives us 8:17 pm. On the following day (July 24), adding the same values together, we get 9:05 pm. This illustrates that despite setting an interval of 1440 minutes between the start of the next check, the check does not always start at the same time. Therefore, I assumed that the next interval of 1440 minutes is counted from the moment of completion of the previous check.

3.85:
* Added option in "Settings" -> "Links" -> "Check for dead links once per day on specific time".
