Hello Freddy

I don't know if my idea is too complicated or needs lots of work but I thought I'll still write it and see what you think about it :)

Lets say I'm uploading to one file host RG and when my links will go down... if I want to do reupload I need to have a copy of it either on my HDD or another filehost like 1fichier or something else (my idea is directed on having copy on another filehost).

Would it be hard to do if we would have a window where we can store all our backup links and copy them with one click (TM would search for those backup link by filename).

two images that would help you understand my idea:

window where we can store all backup links:

another option that would let us search dead links and copy urls from backup window:

That's all from me, hope I explained myself well.

Let me know what you think about it

Have a good day

Great idea have saved me a lot of time

Now when I have a dead link I have to search for it on host to the backup (1ficher)
and as example I have 100 dead links I have to search for them by name separately

cool that was an option I select multiple posts in TM with dead links and clicked search options to search for files by name in backup links then I am downloading all files which do want to let reupload

It will save me a lot of time and click on the individual links to stripping by host my backup (1ficher)

I was very grateful Freddy like you added the this option

Best Regards

Not sure if understood right.

But having "backup links" already uploaded on another host which won't be used at all will just get them deleted way sooner than normal links will go dead.

So basically when normal will be dead, the backup links will also be already dead long time ago.

no there are filehosts like 1fichier (which most uploaders use for backup) that keeps files "forever" I have premium with them and I didn't see any of non published links that went dead.

another way to do that can be by adding some option in extract menu that will allow to add links (backup) as mirror but in a way that they won't be eddited on the forum.

maybe something like that:
option: add links as backup and them themaManager will surround those urls with some special tag so they will be edited in txt file but will not be processed in a forum... just trying to make it simple as possible :)

From 3.08:
* Added notes for post. If post has any notes is shown by icon near the post subject in the list. To view / edit notes there is new button at the bottom near the "preview" button. To save notes or get back to message view just press the notes button again.

I guess you could save backup links in notes for now if needed.

I didn't notice that you added this option. It's works great but could you possibly add a way to extract links from notes?
Thank You
