Did you tried to edit manually?
At least when posting the posts are not visible until moderator has approved them.
Maybe when editing moderator must approve the post also and the forum hides it temporary until it gets approved.
I can't really test this fully since I made few posts, but I need to wait till moderator approves them to be able to edit something.
