Post subject:  Does TM concatenate logins / edits?

Hello,

working a bit more with TM these days I wonder if it doesn't concatenate logins and edits? It looks like TM logs several times into the same forum if it has to alter several posts.

Worse, it looks like it even does this when I replace two groups of links with "extract links" in the same post - is this intended behaviour?

Just asking out of paranoid ideas of being kicked and banned by some BOFH. And yes, we already discussed it might not being detected by most forums, I remember but my paranoia is still there, admitted! :-)

But beside my personal comfort issues, maybe this could be a performance issue for the bigger posters. It would be nice to know more.

Edit:

From 3.30 version it was improved and now it uses smart login without the need to login each time.

Hi,

at the moment it logs in every time it needs to do an edit.

I personally use some custom monitor software for forum topics which logs in every minute non-stop for 24/7 without any problems for more than a year now. So logins really doesn't matter for forums.

Performance might be improved here a bit, but it doesn't take long to login really. A second or less.

Might make something like "smart login" as in themaPoster, but don't expect it very soon.

As if I'd be gifted with second sight I found out today that one of my forums indeed throws captchas at TM when trying to do many (about 150) consecutive edits. Changing proxy and manually retrying did the trick for me.

For large scale edits we all should be cautious at the moment ;-)
